Conwy

Conwy is a very attractive town on the North Wales coast. The views from all angles are impressive since much of the castle and most of the castle walls that surrounded the town are still intact. The smallest house in Britain is also in Conwy, next to the river that flows close by to the castle.

My parents live close by in Deganwy, where they moved when my father's job with Crosville buses demanded.

Conwy Castle
A well-preserved castle, worth a visit

I hope to expand on the history of Conwy as time goes by. There is much to see and since the town is not far from any of the other major resorts such as Llandudno and Rhyl it is very accessible. In recent years a tunnel was built under the river for cars, bypassing the town and reducing pollution and congestion.

Pictures of the castle can be found on a related web site dedicated to castles, an excellent source of information.
